I guess it goes back to when I worked as an art director in advertising. At the time, my friends and I joked about people who thought 35 year old ad creatives were ‘over the hill’. These conversations often happened on particularly grueling days, when we talked about what we would do after reaching the critical mid-30s and entered ‘post advertising retirement’.

I now draw funny things for a living as Pico the cat keeps watch and slowly falls asleep on my keyboard.
